ADR Summit 2020

The Indian Mediation Week organised a "Mumbai ADR Summit and Case Management in collaboration with SAMA and WBNUJS held on 7th January 2020 at Bombay stock exchange, Mumbai was a knowledgeable experience for the whole ADR committee of the college. The main theme of the event was to promote mediation as an alternative dispute resolution. The students got the chance to listen to various keynote speakers Mrs. Tanu Mehta, Director, centre for mediation research, MNLU, Mr. Pramod Rao, Group General Counsel, ICICI Bank, Mr. Madhukeshwar Desai, Founder MCIA, Mr. Nitin Potdar, Partner, Sagar J. Associates,Mr. Inbavijayan, international arbitrator, Mr. Kumar Shanu, Mr. Shankhar Jadhav, Managing Director, BSE (Investments). Mr. Cyril Shroff graced the event as the chief guest and gave his valuable feedback on Mediation.

The program also created a nexus between technology and Mediation by introducing Case Management workshop for the students interested in the field of Mediation. The workshop encouraged students to act as facilitator in the mediation process.
